Replaced a five-step manual onboarding handoff with a single automation that fires the moment a deal closes.
Problem
When a deal closed in HubSpot, onboarding meant someone manually pulling contact details, creating a shared Drive folder, setting up a Trello board, and notifying the team in Slack — a handoff that was easy to delay or do inconsistently.
Solution
Built a Zapier workflow that automated client onboarding between HubSpot, Google Drive, Trello, and Slack.
Result
Onboarding kickoff now happens automatically, the same way, every time — no dropped handoffs, no manual data entry between tools.
